🏥 New Pediatric Care Comes to Plainview

Cohen Children's Northwell Health just opened two pediatric offices in Plainview, making life easier for local families. Before this, parents had to drive all the way to Levittown or Huntington just to see a pediatrician. That's a lot of extra time in the car with sick kids.

The first office is at 522 Old Country Road with four exam rooms spread across 1,800 square feet. The second location sits at 100 Manetto Hill Road, Suite 312, offering five exam rooms in a 1,500-square-foot space. Both spots cost about $250,000 combined to set up.

Now parents in Plainview can get quality pediatric care right in their neighborhood. It's about time Eastern Nassau County got the healthcare access it deserved.

Long Island's favorite pizza spot has officially opened at 211 Airport Plaza.
Owner Umberto Corteo is bringing his famous Grandma pizza to the former Bellagio Pizzeria location. The new restaurant will create jobs and give locals another great place to grab a slice with family. Read More 

🏠 Former Island Park Motel Becomes Veteran Housing

Nassau County transferred the old Long Beach Motor Inn to Tunnel to Towers Foundation for a $20 million makeover. The property will become 58 affordable apartments with job training, health services, and addiction support for veterans. Expected completion is 2026, giving veterans a real shot at stability. 🎁 Adventureland's Holiday Pop-Up at Walt Whitman

The amusement park opened its first holiday shop at Walt Whitman Shops through December 31. Gift bundles start at $99 and include admission tickets, gift cards, and park merch. It's a convenient way for families to snag some fun for the holidays without waiting until summer. Read More
