šļø New Housing Coming to Nassau County: $26M Boost

Good news for Long Island residents! Governor Kathy Hochul just announced $26 million in funding for new housing in Nassau County. The money will help build five new developments, adding about 750 new homes to Nassau and Suffolk counties.
One of the biggest projects is The Grand at Baldwin, which will have 215 apartments. Twenty-two of these will be affordable units, making it easier for families to find a place to call home. Another project, The Preserve at South Country Road in Southampton, will add 79 new units for working families.
These new developments are aimed at helping veterans, families, and people with disabilities find good places to live. The total investment for all projects comes to $467 million, showing real commitment to fixing Long Island's housing needs.
