📚 Hofstra Brings Long Island's Past to Your Screen

Hofstra's Long Island Studies Institute just landed a $459,000 federal grant to digitize thousands of historical documents from Nassau and Suffolk counties. Think old photographs, letters, and diaries from the 1700s onward. The first batch will feature World War I-era Camp Mills images, with more rolling out over three years.
