Total Restoration Industries just picked up a 30,500-square-foot industrial building in Syosset for $9.093 million. The company is moving from another spot on the same street to this bigger space. With 30+ years in fire, water, and mold restoration, they're setting up shop in what used to be a tech supplier's building.

Parker Jewish Institute in New Hyde Park now offers state-approved bedside blood transfusions, so patients don't need hospital trips for this care. The program launched in late December for dialysis patients and others needing chronic care, letting them get transfusions right on campus in a familiar setting.
