✈️ Wings Over Jones Beach: The FourLeaf Air Show Returns Memorial Day Weekend

Get ready for high-flying excitement at the 2025 FourLeaf Air Show, soaring over Jones Beach State Park this Memorial Day weekend! On Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the skies above Long Island will come alive with breathtaking aerobatics and thrilling military demonstrations. Headlining the event for their 10th appearance are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, showcasing their precision flying in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Joining them are the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the U.S. Navy's F-35C and EA-18G Growler Demo Teams, the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Demo Team, and historic warbirds from the American Airpower Museum, including the iconic B-29 Superfortress "Doc."

You can enjoy the show from anywhere along the beachfront, with Central Mall serving as show center. Admission is free, but parking is $10 per vehicle. Don't miss this family-friendly event that honors our military heroes and kicks off the summer season with a spectacular display of aerial prowess. Last year they had 353,000 people in attendance! Nassau County just celebrated its first-ever “516 Day” — and it was a hit.

On Friday, local spots across the county offered clever $5.16 deals on beers, clams, and more to honor our area code — and residents showed up in full force. It wasn’t just about the deals, though. “516 Day” turned into a true show of community pride, with friends gathering at local businesses and neighborhoods buzzing with hometown spirit.

🌊 NICE Bus Launches Summer Service to Jones Beach

Planning a beach day? Starting May 23, 2025, NICE Bus is making it easy again with the return of the n88X express route from Freeport LIRR to Jones Beach—perfect timing for the FourLeaf Air Show. Buses roll out hourly from 8 AM on opening day, then shift to every 30 minutes throughout Memorial Day weekend. The final ride back is 8:30 PM on Friday, with frequent returns all weekend long.
