💧 Bayville wins Nassau’s best-tasting water prize

Bayville has bragging rights at the tap.

The Village of Bayville Water Department was named Nassau County’s best-tasting water at the 38th annual Drinking Water Tasting Contest. More than 380 people sampled water from 17 providers across Long Island before picking Bayville as their favorite.

The win continues a strong run for Bayville, which also took the top spot in 2023 and 2024.

⭐ Nassau-Area Hospitals Earn Five-Star CMS Ratings

Several Long Island hospitals received five-star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the agency’s highest overall hospital quality rating.

The Nassau-area names to know include Glen Cove Hospital, North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in Roslyn, Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, and NYU Langone Hospital Long Island in Mineola.

Use the ratings as a starting point, not the whole decision. The right hospital still depends on insurance, specialty care, location, your doctor’s guidance, and the type of care needed.
