šŸ‡ Belmont Park’s $455M Overhaul Reaches Key Milestone

Belmont Park’s $455 million renovation has hit a major milestone with the placement of the final beam on its new grandstand. The Elmont racetrack is being transformed into a 275,000-square-foot facility with 7,500 seats, set to reopen in 2026 and host over 50,000 fans. The project is expected to generate $1 billion in construction-related economic impact and nearly 3,700 union jobs. Leaders say the overhaul brings jobs, boosts the economy, and ensures Belmont remains a world-class destination for racing and entertainment.

āš“ $19.6M Restoration Approved for Port Washington’s Town Dock

The long-awaited Town Dock restoration is officially a go! With final approval from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and over $19M in funding secured, the project will upgrade the dock, bulkhead, drainage, and park features—13 years after Hurricane Sandy first caused major damage. Construction begins in the new year.

Daifa Food Inc. has purchased a 29,500-sq-ft industrial building in Deer Park for $7.4M as it expands operations on Long Island. The company will occupy a third of the space, while an existing tenant continues leasing a portion. The building features high ceilings, drive-in bays, and modern loading docks.
