🚨 East Hills Gets New Emergency Management Office
East Hills just opened its own Office of Emergency Management, and it's a big deal for everyone living in Nassau County. The village wants to make sure people know what to do when things go wrong.
The new office kicked off on November 13, 2025, and it's going to handle a bunch of stuff. They'll put together emergency response plans, run training sessions for residents, and make sure everyone stays in the loop during a crisis. Whether it's a hurricane, power outage, or health emergency, they want folks prepared.
Community leaders think this will be a game-changer. Residents will finally have a go-to place for emergency info and training. When you know what to do in a tough situation, it makes everything less scary.
