🏥 HarmonyCares Opens First Long Island Office in Westbury

HarmonyCares, a national provider of in-home medical care, has opened its first Long Island office at 865 Merrick Ave. in Westbury.
The 2,300-square-foot location supports care coordination for patients with complex health needs across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Founded in 1993 and rebranded in 2022, the company serves 14 states with over 175 providers.
The Westbury office is HarmonyCares’ second in New York, following Forest Hills, and currently serves more than 55 patients.
The expansion is backed by a $200 million funding round to grow access to home-based healthcare nationwide.

🏗️ Hempstead Breaks Ground on $42M Middle School Expansion

The Hempstead School District has begun a $42.3 million upgrade to Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School — its first major renovation in 55 years.
The project includes new classrooms, a library, modern athletic fields, and enhanced security, with completion expected by the 2027–28 school year.

📚 Great Neck and Jericho Schools Ranked Among NY's Best

Lakeville Elementary School and Jericho Middle School led Long Island schools in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 rankings, placing 12th and 24th in the state, respectively. A total of 17 Long Island schools made the top 50 list in their categories, reflecting continued academic excellence in the region.
