Hempstead Village scored a $15 million state grant to transform Mirschel Park with a new community center. The project includes an indoor basketball court, rooftop garden, playground, splash area, and pickleball court. Groundbreaking starts spring 2026, bringing year-round activities and much-needed amenities to a long-overlooked neighborhood.
