Good news for Hicksville residents! The town is getting ready for some big changes that will make everyone's life better. The downtown area and LIRR station are about to get a major update. The state is putting in $5.8 million through its Downtown Revitalization Initiative, bringing the total project value to $11.6 million. This money will help create better public spaces and make it easier for everyone to get around town. shows how this project will help local businesses grow and bring the community together.
The plans include renovating the train station and adding new ways to get around town. These changes will make Hicksville a place where people want to spend time, shop, and meet friends.

š§ East Meadow Plaza Revamp Kicks Off
Big changes are coming to East Meadow Plaza! The shopping center is getting ready for a major makeover that will give the whole area a new feel. Local residents can look forward to some really nice updates. At a community meeting on June 17, people got to see what's in store. The plans showed new shops, places to eat, and spots where neighbors can hang out together.
The best part? This is just the start of good things coming to East Meadow. The meeting also brought up other cool projects that are in the works. Keep your eyes peeled for more news about how these updates will make shopping and eating out in the neighborhood even better!
