š Historic Bell Tower Update, Car Show, + New Brunch Spot!
New Summer Jobs Program. Historic Bell Tower. Ryder Cup. New Brunch Spot!

Hey Nassau County ā Happy Thursday!
The first weekend of June is shaping up nicely ā not too hot, not too cold, and packed with good stuff. Outdoor movies? Yep. Live music? All over. A few street fairs and surprise pop-ups? Youāll want to keep your eyes open.
Fun Nassau fact:
When Nassau County split from Queens in 1899, it was due to Queens becoming part of New York City. Residents in the eastern towns (like Hempstead and Oyster Bay) wanted no part in joining the city and opted to form their own countyāwhat we now know as Nassau.

š„ Hospital Gets $4M to Help Nurses Shine
Great news for Rockville Centre! Mercy Hospital just got a huge gift - $4 million from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation. This money will help nurses who have been working super hard, especially since COVID hit.

The grant will do so much good. It's going to give nurses more chances to grow in their careers and get the support they need when things get tough. When nurses are doing well, patients get better care - it's that simple!
This is such exciting news for everyone in the community. Better support for nurses means better healthcare for all of us. It's a win-win that will make a real difference in people's lives.
