🚨 New Emergency Department Coming to Valley Stream!

A major upgrade is nearly complete at LIJ Valley Stream. The hospital’s $31M emergency department is almost ready — and it’s built for speed. The redesigned space is bigger, more efficient, and puts a doctor right in the waiting room, so patients get seen faster. Less waiting, smarter care, and new tech throughout the facility are all part of the plan.
They’ve added isolation rooms, expanded triage space, and staff are already undergoing training to make the rollout smooth. It’s a big win for local families who rely on nearby care. Stay tuned — the doors open soon, and Nassau County will feel the impact. 💙
