516 Update is bringing readers together for our first in-person Dinner Club.

Join us at Seasons 52 in Garden City for dinner with five other local guests. You’ll reserve one seat, complete a short personality quiz, and DNNR will use your responses to create a thoughtfully matched table of six.

You do not need to bring a friend or organize a group. Coming on your own is part of the experience.

How the Dinner Club works

1. Reserve one seat

Your seat costs $15.99 and covers the personality quiz, guest matching, table curation, and event logistics.

Food and drinks are purchased separately at Seasons 52.

2. Complete a short personality quiz

The questionnaire asks about your interests, social style, and preferred dinner atmosphere. Your answers help DNNR build a compatible table.

3. Meet your table of six

You’ll be matched with five other local guests and meet at Seasons 52 for dinner and conversation.

This is not speed dating, a business networking event, or a crowded mixer. It is a small dinner designed to make meeting new people feel easier.

4. Keep the conversation going

Guests who are not ready to end the evening can join an optional after-dinner gathering. DNNR describes this part of the experience as a chance for conversations to continue, numbers to be exchanged, and new connections to form after the meal.

What age groups are joining?

Our current confirmed guests include adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s+, with the strongest representation currently among guests age 60 and older.

The Dinner Club is designed for adults who want to meet new local people over a relaxed meal. When tables are created, DNNR may consider age range alongside interests, personality, social style, and preferred dinner atmosphere.

The final mix depends on who completes their booking, so we cannot guarantee a specific age group at every table.
