š Old Westbury Police Score $511K Safety Grant

The Old Westbury Police Department just landed a $511,000 grant from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The money will help them beef up enforcement of commercial vehicle laws on major roads like the Long Island Expressway and Jericho Turnpike. Chief Stuart Cameron says they've already issued over 600 summonses this year, and this funding will help them do even more.
