🚧 $14M Overhaul Set to Transform Shore Road by 2027

Big changes are on the way for Shore Road and Prospect Avenue, thanks to a $14 million redesign that will add bike lanes, sidewalks, stormwater upgrades, and safer intersections. Spanning nearly four miles, the project connects Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, and Glenwood Landing with a greener, more walkable waterfront corridor. Plans also include flood-control improvements near Scudders Pond and new features like benches, trees, and decorative lighting. Construction is set to begin in 2027—residents say it's a long-awaited win for the whole community.
