🏆 Massapequa Park Named NY's Top Place to Live 2025

Great news for Long Island—Massapequa Park has just been named the best place to live in New York State by U.S. News & World Report for 2025–2026. This South Shore village topped the list thanks to its safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, and strong sense of community. With around 17,000 residents, it offers a suburban charm that's hard to beat. The median home price is about $628,000, and families earn an average of $167,000, making it a solid choice for both comfort and stability.

Commuters love the quick 28-minute average travel time, and nearby Hicksville also earned recognition, ranking #3 in the state. Massapequa Park continues to win hearts with its scenic parks, vibrant downtown, and family-friendly vibe. It's no wonder more and more people are falling in love with this Nassau County gem.

🌊 Long Island Beach Report: Best and Worst Swimming Spots

A new study shows that most beaches along Long Island Sound got good grades for water quality in 2024. About 72% of beaches in New York and Connecticut earned an A or B grade, which is great news for swimmers. Some beaches stood out as the cleanest spots. Stehli Beach and Crescent Beach in Oyster Bay both got A grades. Centerport Beach in Huntington and Hobart Beach in Asharoken also made the top of the list.

🎮 Game Room Fun Comes to Long Island
