Roslyn Padel has opened a four-court outdoor pop-up at Christopher Morley Park, giving local residents a chance to try a racquet sport that blends elements of tennis and squash. The seasonal courts are expected to remain open through mid-October, weather permitting, with beginner clinics, private lessons and group instruction available. A permanent 40,000-square-foot club with 10 indoor courts, fitness and wellness amenities, a café and social spaces is planned for fall 2027.

Robert Graham Opens Its First Long Island Store

Robert Graham has opened its first Long Island store at Tanger Outlets Deer Park. The 2,495-square-foot location carries the premium lifestyle brand’s sport shirts, coats, denim, footwear, outerwear, loungewear, accessories and leather goods, along with a changing women’s collection. The store is located across from Express Factory Outlet and joins several recent or planned additions at the shopping center, including Main Event, We-Desi Indian Bistro and an expanded Adidas store.

Kuku Korean Cuisine Opens in Roslyn Heights

Kuku Korean Cuisine has opened a new 2,000-square-foot restaurant at 96 Mineola Avenue in Roslyn Heights, taking over the former Attilio’s Pizza space. The menu goes beyond Korean-style fried chicken, with bibimbap, seafood pancakes, tofu stews, bulgogi, spicy soy-garlic wings and catering options. This is the company’s second Long Island location after Huntington, and the owners have leased the adjoining space with the possibility of expanding the Roslyn Heights restaurant later.

A Late-Night Café with Its Own Rhythm

Karak House in Great Neck brings a different rhythm to the usual coffee-shop lineup. The menu centers karak chai, specialty coffee, and Middle Eastern desserts, and the late hours make it feel like an evening place as much as a daytime one. It’s more polished than cozy, but it knows exactly what it is.
