$1.575 Million Bellmore Building Sold to Home Fragrance and Décor Business
A $1.575 million purchase has brought a new owner to Bellmore’s former furniture showroom at 607 Sunrise Highway. Home-fragrance and décor wholesaler 3G Family Holding acquired the two-story, 6,178-square-foot building, Long Island Business News reported September 24. The company supplies retailers in the United States and overseas. This is a commercial property purchase, not a confirmed new shop opening: the report does not announce a public-facing store or an opening date.

Sushi Delivered by Miniature Trains Is Coming to Westbury
Miniature trains could soon deliver dinner to your table in Westbury. Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar has leased a 5,800-square-foot building at 1230 Corporate Drive in Roosevelt Raceway Center for its first Long Island restaurant. The all-you-can-eat concept features tablet ordering, small trains that carry food and a robot for larger orders. The space previously housed a T-Mobile store. The operator hopes to open by the end of November, so diners should treat that timing as a target rather than a confirmed opening date.

September Recap: $5.3 Million Sale for Westbury Retail Property
A $5.3 million sale brought new ownership to the retail building at 427 Old Country Road in Westbury, in a transaction first reported September 11. Carle Place-based Advance Properties purchased the 6,087-square-foot property across from Costco and Walmart. At the time of the report, it was fully leased to T-Mobile, Yaaas Tea and The Joint Chiropractic. This is an ownership change involving existing businesses, rather than an announcement of new stores or a redevelopment project.
