Downtown Rockville Centre Corner Is Set for a Major Reboot
A prominent downtown Rockville Centre corner is getting a fresh start.
Platinum Star Realty acquired the two-story mixed-use building at 228 Merrick Road for $960,000.
Located at the corner of Merrick Road and South Village Avenue, the property is slated for extensive interior and exterior renovations, including a new facade and wraparound glass.
Plans call for approximately 1,350 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, with residential space upstairs.
The renovated building is expected to be delivered in 2027, although no commercial tenant has been announced.
