Hello Nassau! Let’s Talk What’s New & What’s Next

Today’s update brings two very different kinds of fresh starts: a new urgent care center in East Meadow and a vacant Garden City building turned into a polished coworking space. Whether you need an X-ray or just somewhere quiet to answer emails, Nassau has options.

A New Northwell-GoHealth Urgent Care Has Opened in East Meadow

East Meadow residents have a new option for walk-in medical care.

Northwell Health-GoHealth has opened a 2,500-square-foot urgent care center at 1990 Hempstead Turnpike in the Meadows Shopping Center.

The facility is the health system’s 38th urgent care location on Long Island and treats adults and children at least six months old.

Services include X-rays, COVID-19 testing and flu vaccines, along with treatment for respiratory infections, cuts, ear infections, fractures and other common illnesses and injuries.

The center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
