🏢 YMCA to Run New Elmont Community Center Near UBS Arena

It’s official: the YMCA of Long Island is taking the reins of Elmont’s new community hub. They just closed on a vacant office building for $4.8 million, with plans to turn it into an 18,000-square-foot facility. We’re talking wellness programs, a half-gym, and space for both seniors and kids. It’s part of the original UBS Arena deal, and it’s a massive win for families in Western Nassau who have been waiting for this space.
