Great Neck Park District Approves $21M Budget For 2027

The Great Neck Park District has approved a $21 million budget for 2027 following a public hearing on September 3.

The spending plan calls for a 1 percent reduction in the tax levy while keeping total spending growth below 2 percent. District officials also project higher program revenue, which helps offset the amount raised through property taxes.

For residents, the key takeaway is that the district plans to maintain its parks and recreation operations while slightly lowering the levy. The approved budget sets the district's overall financial framework for 2027, although individual household tax bills can still vary based on assessments and other factors.

Water Alone Won't Hydrate You This Fall

Cooler air, indoor heating, and shorter days can leave you dehydrated even when you're drinking plenty of water. That's because true hydration depends on electrolytes, not just water.

Pique's Deep Hydration Protocol pairs two formulas for round-the-clock hydration. B·T Fountain is a beauty electrolyte with clinically studied ceramides and hyaluronic acid, taken each morning for cellular hydration and steady energy. R·E Fountain follows at night — a calming magnesium blend built on Pique's proprietary Triple Biomaxed™ Magnesium for restful sleep.

Customers on this protocol report falling asleep faster, waking up without that groggy, dehydrated feeling, and noticing healthier-looking skin. This protocol sells out every fall — once it's gone, it's gone until next year.

Get 20% off for life right now, backed by Pique's 90-day guarantee. Shop the Deep Hydration Protocol before it sells out.

U.S. News evaluates nearly 18,000 public high schools using measures that include college readiness, state assessment performance, graduation rates and access to a broad curriculum. The rankings offer one comparative snapshot and do not capture every part of a school's performance or student experience.
