North Hempstead approved a $447,740 deal to install 58 electric vehicle charging stations across 12 town locations by spring. The town will keep 91 cents on every dollar earned, a huge improvement from the previous 25-cent deal that never happened. Plus, a $200,000 PSEG grant will fund even more stations once these are up and running.
