💰 Northwell Expands Gun Violence Prevention Program
New York State is putting $1.5 million into Northwell Health's firearm injury prevention program, bringing it to emergency departments in Buffalo, Rochester, and the Bronx. The program aims to reduce gun violence through intervention at a critical moment—when someone arrives at the ER with a gunshot wound.
